Beloved wife of the late Ronald Hicken.
Loving mother and mother in law of Lance, Christine (dec) and Kay & Stephen.
Loving Mumma to her 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Late of Farm 1052, Hanwood, who passed away on Wednesday 10th November at the age of 95 years.

A funeral service celebrating Myrtle’s life will be held at St Alban the Martyr Anglican Cathedral, Griffith on Thursday 18th November commencing at 10.00am, followed by an interment in the Griffith Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Country Hope will be gratefully received at the service.

In accordance with Covid-19 Government Vaccination Regulations, Vaccinated attendees are permitted with all guests required to wear masks and sign in via the QR code provided.

Coffin or Casket Costs

Many people regard the coffin or casket as an important tribute to the deceased and they are therefore selected with care. The difference is basically one of design. A Coffin have a tapered head and foot and are wide at the shoulders, with a removable lid. A Casket is a rectangular shape with a hinged lid. Caskets are usually constructed of better quality timbers and feature higher standards of workmanship.
